Although hotels aren’t even top five reasons I want to travel, there are some out there that appear to be fictional they are so incredible.
At the top of my list, The Conrad Maldives Rangali Island. Holy SHIT. First, Maldives has been on my bucket list as long as I can remember. Crystal clear blue waters. So beautiful it looks untouched. There is even an underwater restaurant where you can watch the sea creatures swim around you. That is unreal.
Next on the list is Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort in Finland.
This hotel is only opened for four months of the year, January to April. Just look at this picture. Your hotel is shaped as an igloo. Why isn’t there something like this in America?!
Next up is the Green Magic Resort in Kerala, India. Good lord this bring out the Peter Pan in me. The accomodations are similar to a tree house, if that’s not the coolest thing you have ever heard. Located high off the wilderness floor, you’re staying in hand crafted lodging by local Tribesman. I never want to grow up!
Another hotel that is a must see, The Karen Blixen Suite at Giraffe Manor in Kenya. OMG. Protected giraffes wonder around the hotel property and are encouraged to dine with you by popping in on your dinner plans through the large open windows. This is incredible.
Last but certainly not least in my list of amazing hotels is The Poseidon Undersea Resort in Fiji. The most expensive suite, costing you my years salary for one night, is the Nautilus Suite. These under water suites are nothing short than a dream, I can’t even imagine what it would be like to go to sleep watching the sea life around you. One word: BADASS.

The Conrad on the Maldives with its underwater restaurant is on my bucket list for a long time as well. It looks absolutely amazing!
